pep rally   it’s friday, october 16^th during 3^rd period. all fall teams must have music picked and ready by monday, october 12^th and give it to brynn todd, preferalbly on a phone. maximum performance length is 2 minutes.

parent teacher conferences   they take place october 26^th. parents can go online beginning october 14^th to book appointments.

musical theatre   Gr. 9 & 10 Musical Theatre students are asked to pick up an information sheet in the office.

wear purple   On Thursday, October 15th please wear purple to remember the young people who have taken their lives due to homophobic bullying.

post-secondary presentations   sign up outside of mr. fewer’s office to attend presentations by u of w, u of m and rrcc. you can also sign up for the university fair at sturgeon heights on november 5^th.

art house film   this week’s art house film is 1951’s the day the earth stood still. it’s wednesday at 4:30 in the theatre. permission slips are in front of the drama room.

halloween dance   it’s october 29^th. tickets must be purchased in advance and will be available for $10 in front of the caf at lunch and after school.

volunteering   Any students looking for volunteer work and who would like to get a jump start on collecting their hours are asked to see Mr. Fewer for opportunities around the community.

volleyball   Congratulations to the varsity girls volleyball team for winning the kildonan east tournament this past weekend. The girls beat the #8 ranked portage and the #10 ranked river east so will now be in the top ten in the province. Great job ladies!
