bake sale   today through friday at lunch for our sponsored child in uganda. it’s his birthday on friday and we’re almost at our $1000 goal for the year.

 

community service   Those grade 11 students interested in being eligible for the 2013-2014 United Way Community Service award should indicate so in writing to Mr. Braun by April 30. see the information posters around the building.

Students who are looking for volunteer hours have an opportunity to volunteer with the Teddy Bear's Picnic on May 25th.

yip   There will be a short YiP meeting on Wednesday at 3:30 to complete the presentation and to pick up permission forms for the Year End Celebration.  Please meet in student services.

 

gsa   GSA Hunger Games is taking place this Thursday from 5-7PM. If you have signed up to attend please bring your $5.00 pizza money to Mrs. Teichroew. Students who wish to take part in this event need to see Mrs. Teichroew asap to sign up.

athletes of the week  Congratulations to Amy and Christine who have been selected as this weeks MHSAA athletes of the week. They are undefeated in league and tournament play this season, we wish them good luck at this weeks provincials as they will be listed as the #1 seed.

Ultimate   Good luck to the Westwood Ultimate team as they travel to Montreal for the Canadian High School Ultimate Championships this weekend. All players should see Mr. Shoesmith at some point today.

 

girls hockey   Anyone looking for volunteer hours or wanting to make a few bucks ($30.00/game) are to see Mr. Hiebert in room 217. We are looking for time keepers and students to play music at home games next year.

badminton   Congratulations to Amy and Christine who won the gold medal in girls doubles again this past weekend. These ladies have now won gold in consecutive varsity tournaments.

Also congratulations goes out to Josh and Peter  who won the silver medal in Boys doubles as well.

Reminder goes out to all players playing in the divisional finals are required to come to practice today at 3:30.

 

cheerleading   congrats on a great season. the ladies placed first in the pom routine at provincials on saturday. coaches and advisors are very proud of your dedication and hard work .
