curling   Congratulations to our curling teams that played last night.  The girls won by a score of 8-1.  The boys team came from behind to win 5-4, after scoring 4 in the final end.  Great games by all players!!

 

volleyball   good luck to our vg as they play in the final four at u of m tonight. the game begins at 6pm. bring $5 for admission, and appropriate noisemakers.

 

girls hockey   Good luck to our girls hockey team who take on shaftsbury today at 4 pm at kw. Girls are to be dismissed at 250 for their game.

craft sale   congrats to our grads and organizers for another great craft sale.

 

the event   westwood’s “event” will be student co-chaired by joanna kraemer, alissa lee and hunter watson. the theme chsen this year will be hollywood and will be held in the gym on march 18th. the event is the main annual fundraiser for safe grad. students learn a dance in groups throughout the year to perform on stage in front of friends and family. this dance is based on the theme and is choreographed by westwood alumni.

addictions awareness   as the MB Addictions Awareness Week comes to an ind, it’s important to know that conversations and learning about substances need to continue. we hear about the use and abuse of substances on the news, in the hallways and on social media. it’s tough shomtimes to know what’s true and what’s not. the safest way to find out is to talk about it.
