gym All grade 9 and 10 gym
classes should report to the theatre for attendance because of the band
concert.
pride week
this is pride week. our gsa will be giving away a necklace to the
winners of a question each week. answers are in the front foyer. today’s
question is: who was the gay running
back for the green bay packers?

westfest it’s june

cas there is a mandatory cas
meeting at lunch in room 219 on wednesday, june 5th.
cafeteria
tuesday – taco in a bag and mexi tater tots, Wednesday – pasta with
caesar salad and pride cupcakes, thursday – pulled pork with potato wedges.
grade 12 english exam
there will be prep sessions for the provincial English exam at noon thursday
in room 205 for grade 12s involved.
fundraiser for siloam
you can pay $2/day to use your cell phone in the hallways from tuesday
to friday. simply check in with wil in front of the office each morning and you
will receive a wrist band.
band concert
come out to support your fellow students at our band concert Thursday at
7 pm. setup will be Wednesday at 8:30 pm.
grad tickets
students and parents are reminded that grad dinner tickets can be
purchased online this year. information is on our school website. once tickets
are purchased, students will be able to select their tickets either june 4 or 5th
at lunch in the library. refer to our website or the grad package you were
given in the grad meeting for more information.
math extra help extra
help monday and thursday at lunch.
athletic banquet The
banquet is June 5th. Any students who have played on a sports team
this year - please see your coach for your sports banquet ticket. additional
tickets can be purchased from mrs. lundgren. janine hanson, olympic silver
medallist, will speak and a meal from calabria market will be served.
camp scholarships Any
student who is attending an athletic camp this summer and wants the opportunity
for a scholarship should bring Mr. Schmeichel a copy of their registration and
receipt by the end of the week.
girls rugby
there is an exhibition game against oak park june 4th at 4 pm
at oak park. see ms. ammeter for more details.
boys rugby In
Boys rugby playoff action last night, the team fought very hard but lost in
sudden death double overtime. Trys were
scored by Matthew Nieman-Mayer, Nicolas Gilles, and Aaron Major. Players are reminded to pick up their sports
award banquet tickets from Mr. Braun.
girls soccer There
is a girls soccer team meeting today at 1203 in room 204. See Mr Hayes if you
can't make it.
boys soccer Congratulations to the boys soccer team for
their 4-2 win over Portage la Prairie last night. The team opened up the field
quite early with solid passing and good communication. Goals were scored by: Colton Rooney, Mohammed
Kahmil, Zach Nickerson and Jihun Park.
Players of the game, as named by Mr. Edwards and Mr. Aguirre were: Matt Size and Jihun Park.
Well done boys! Catch them in action at their next game on
Monday as they play at Shaftsbury at 4:00 p.m.
