WCAAG MEETING TONIGHT  There is a meeting of the Arts Advisory Group January 26th at 6:30pm in the Westwood Collegiate Library.

All interested parents are welcome to attend.  Planning for FLOTA is the main agenda item.

 

pre-exam meditation sessions    Mr. Sdrolias invites all students to prepare for exams by participating in meditation sessions, beginning January 27th.  They are only 10 minutes in duration.  Morning sessions begin EXACTLY at 8:00 am and afternoon sessions at 12:30 pm.  Students must be in the CAVE by 7:55 am and 12:25 pm, respectively.  Late students will not be allowed to enter.

 

coping with exam stress   ms bennett and ms. bonk will be presenting the following sessions:

January 26 12:00-1:05---- Doors in 106 open over lunch--- anyone needing to chat, debrief or strategize re: exam stress

sign up outside of room 106.

 

exams   The exam seating schedule is posted out in front of the office.  Please check the lists to ensure that you have been assigned a seat for your scheduled exam.  Students that have come to the office with conflicts will also find their names on the seating list.  If your name is missing, let us know in the office.

grad photos   they will take place february 13-17. the cost is $60 which includes the sitting fee and gown rental.   sign up outside of room 207. know your semester 2 timetable so that you can sign up on a spare.

 

student council coffee house   it’s february 26th at the daily grind. if you’d like to perform, sign up on the student council board at the front door.

Congratulations to all the girls involved in the all-star game you made proud. A big thank you to Lindsay who did a marvelous job singing the anthem for both games.

 

girls soccer    the Girls Indoor Soccer game won their first playoff game 5-0 again Grant Park on Friday.  The Girls will be dismissed at 3:20 today for their game at Garden City.

basketball   vg dismissed at 3pm today for their game at frc.

girls hockey   Congratulations to the girls hockey team who defeated second place Selkirk last night in an overtime shootout. Goals were scored by Signy, Jamie, and the over time winner by Amanda. Emily  stood tall once again for the Warriors saving all three shots in the shootout.
