remembrance day   our service is Tuesday at 11am.   students will be called to the gym before the end of period 2. all books, backpacks etc should be left in class. teachers – refer to mr. braun’s email.

art house films   a new film is screened every wednesday at 4:30 in our theatre. There is a brief introduction by mr. white, and a group discussion will follow.
next week’s film is citizen kane. pick up a permission form in the drama room.

job opportunity   There is a job opportunity at the Holiday Inn Airport West for a Recreational pool and playarea supervisor.  Please see Ms. Sheldon for more information.  Applicants must be at least 16 years old. 

cafeteria   karaoke in the caf on thursday.

art gallery field trip   The Winnipeg Art Gallery visit today is cancelled. All students are to attend classes.

arts wear   students who have already ordered their arts hoodie can go to the art room at lunch to try on a sample for sizing.

sources of strength   Join the students of the Sources of Strength in highlighting the “healthy activities” section of the SOS wheel by writing your healthy activity on the large paper in the cafeteria.

grad craft sale  grade 12s are reminded to sign up to volunteer for the craft sale november 21st. sign up outside of room 207.

grey Cup tickets   all grey cup tickets, sold or unsold, must be returned by friday, november 13th.

minneapolis arts trip   Students going on the Minneapolis Arts Tour need to see Mrs. Teichroew in the art room for the Peak of the Market fundraiser form.

volunteering   Any students looking for volunteer work and who would like to get a jump start on collecting their hours are asked to see Mr. Fewer for opportunities around the community.

volleyball   Congratulations to the JV Girls volleyball team for their semi final win last night against Sturgeon, thank you to everyone who came out to support them.  They will need more support this Thursday when they take on St. Mary's in the finals at 6:45 at St. Paul's.

girls hockey   Congratulations to the girls hockey team who defeated FRC 4-1 last night. Nikki and Alicia lead the way each getting two goals and an assist. A reminder that the girls have dryland today at 3:30 pm.
