remembrance day   our service is Tuesday at 11am.   Any students wishing to assist with setup/take down of equipment for the Remembrance Day service on Tuesday morning should put their name forward to Mr. Braun by noon Monday.

the event   any grade 12 student interested in being a co-chair for the event 2106 should attend an information meeting friday at lunch in room 204.

art house films   a new film is screened every wednesday at 4:30 in our theatre. There is a brief introduction by mr. white, and a group discussion will follow.

next week’s film is citizen kane. pick up a permission form in the drama room.

arts wear   students who have already ordered their arts hoodie can go to the art room at lunch to try on a sample for sizing.

sources of strength   there will be a meeting friday during period 2 in room 112.

grad craft sale  grade 12s are reminded to sign up to volunteer for the craft sale november 21^st. sign up outside of room 207.

minneapolis arts trip   The Minneapolis trip has been approved and there are only 4 seats left on the bus!  they have to be filled by friday or the trip will cancelled. Those students enrolled in first or second semester Visual Arts, Graphic Tech, or Photography courses and are in Grades 10-12 can see Mrs. Teichroew or Mr. Cichosz for information. Deadline for submitting a deposit to go is Friday, October 30th.

Students going on the Minneapolis Arts Tour need to see Mrs. Teichroew in the art room for the Peak of the Market fundraiser form.

faculty of engineering   Attention all Future Engineers at Westwood! The University of Manitoba is holding an Engineering Outreach Day on November 19th from 930 to 330. Students will tour the faculty and take part in fun physics activities, lunch is provided. Please see Mr. Fewer before November 10th if you are interested.

volunteering   Any students looking for volunteer work and who would like to get a jump start on collecting their hours are asked to see Mr. Fewer for opportunities around the community.
