sound of music    Tickets for our production of The Sound of Music are on sale in the library.

Tickets cost $15.00 each, and are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.  Payment may be made by cash or cheque payable to Westwood Collegiate.  No credit cards or debit accepted.  Seat selection will take place at time of purchase.  Your ticket order receipt and confirmation will be forwarded by email, and/or tickets can be printed in the library of point of sale.

cafeteria   Wednesday – cake for dessert, thursday – bison burgers, pickerel nuggets, deep fried pickles.

europe meeting   There will be a Europe Meeting Wednesday at noon in room 214 for all those students travelling to Belgium and France next year.  Everybody must attend.

math contest   the awards luncheon will take place tuesday, april 28^th from 12:15-12:50 in the home ec room. pizza and pop will be provided.

safegrad   mlcc will be here may 5^th at 10am to speak to our grade 12 students, and at 6:30 to speak to parents.

drama   all drama classes will be held in room 121 today.

Career Talks    These presentations are open to all students at Westwood, they will address career specific information such as what the job is, how much can you make, what kind of training or schooling do you need and what do you need coming out of high school.  Medical Rehabilitation (physio, occupational and respiratory therapies) is coming up.  Please sign up outside of Ms Bennett's office if you're interested.

u of m   The U of M presentation for gr 12s who have already applied has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 29th at 1:10

ultimate   There will be a meeting for the ultimate players going to nationals  tuesday at lunch in Room 219.

Ultimate players please pick up a MODS waiver outside room 219.

jv girls bball   all girls owing money and uniforms to ms. eyjolfson – get them in asap.

boys volleyball   training session for all grade levels wednesday at 3:30.

outdoor soccer   girls – the last tryout will be tuesday after school from 3:45-4:45.  boys - the Next outdoor soccer training session will be tuesday at 15:45. The roster will be posted outside room 213. Final cuts will be made after the practice. All must attend - Talk to Mr. Aguirre if you cannot make it.

rugby    all girl members are dismissed Wednesday at 3:00 for their games at maple grove.

our Boys rugby team battled valiantly against both gritty weather conditions and tough teams yesterday and came away with 1 win and three losses.  Tries were scored by Aaron, Nick, and Jarrett.  There will be a practice this Thursday beginning at 6:00 PM.
