sound of music    Tickets for our production of The Sound of Music are on sale in the library.
Tickets cost $15.00 each, and are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.  Payment may be made by cash or cheque payable to Westwood Collegiate.  No credit cards or debit accepted.  Seat selection will take place at time of purchase.  Your ticket order receipt and confirmation will be forwarded by email, and/or tickets can be printed in the library of point of sale.

wednesday – way-back wednesday (neon/80s theme), retro music in caf

united way   Any Grade 11 students interested in being considered for this year's United Way Community Service Award should see Mr. Braun this week for information.

gsa   Participants who signed up to take part in the GSA Super Hero Night on Friday, please remember to bring your potluck items.

University presentations   today, both U of W and U of M will be here to do a presentation to gr 12s who have already applied about their next steps and first year expectations.
U of W will be during pd 1.  U of M will be in pd 5.

Career Symposium   Grade 11s, permission forms for the Winnipeg Rotary Career Symposium are in the student services wait room.  They are due back by April 17th - no later. This is a great opportunity to speak to schools, companies and professionals who work in an industry you may be interested in.

Career Talks    These presentations are open to all students at Westwood, they will address career specific information such as what the job is, how much can you make, what kind of training or schooling do you need and what do you need coming out of high school.  The first 2 talks are Engineering and Medical Rehabilitation (physio, occupational and respiratory therapies).  Please sign up outside of Ms Bennett's office if you're interested.

blood donor clinic   Here's your chance to be a Life Saver by donating blood on Friday, April 17.  The shuttle bus will pick us up at 12:00 noon and we will return at approximately 2:30. Sign up sheet and permission forms are in the office.

Teddy Bear's Picnic   Is looking for volunteers on May 31st for face painting, crafts, souvenir sales, and general help. Sign up with Ms Bennett is you're interested.

boys outdoor soccer  The first game is on Monday, April 20th at Gordon Bell.

outdoor track   monday-thursday outside at 3:45-5:00.

girls rugby   girls rugby has a practice at 4:00 on Thursday.

boys rugby   Boys rugby mtg at 12:05 in RM 124

badminton   doubles at sjci for 4pm.  singles practice at 3:30.

girls outdoor soccer   very important meeting for any girls interested – thursday at 12:30 in the cave.

fastball   girls – practice thursday at 7:30am.

beach volleyball   Any athletes interested in playing in the provincial beach volleyball tournament please see Ms. Reimer in room 113.
