sound of music    Tickets for our production of The Sound of Music are on sale in the library.

Tickets cost $15.00 each, and are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.  Payment may be made by cash or cheque payable to Westwood Collegiate.  No credit cards or debit accepted.  Seat selection will take place at time of purchase.  Your ticket order receipt and confirmation will be forwarded by email, and/or tickets can be printed in the library of point of sale.

math contest   the awards luncheon will take place tuesday,f april 28^th from 12:15-12:50 in the home ec room. pizza and pop will be provided.

parking   there will be street cleaning on rouge thursday. If you park there, you’ll be ticketed.

mission to mexico   The Mission to Mexico Team will be having a bake sale during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, from 4-7 pm. A variety of baking will be sold for $5/plate.

safegrad   mlcc will be here may 5^th at 10am to speak to our grade 12 students, and at 6:30 to speak to parents.

spirit week     thursday – gym riot in the afternoon (attendance taken at 1:10)

grad   The safe grad parent committee is having a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday May 2nd at the Applebees at Grant Park. Tickets are $15, and are available in front of the office. We are looking for a number of grade 12 volunteers for this event. Sign up sheet is outside of room 207.

Career Talks    These presentations are open to all students at Westwood, they will address career specific information such as what the job is, how much can you make, what kind of training or schooling do you need and what do you need coming out of high school.  Medical Rehabilitation (physio, occupational and respiratory therapies) is coming up.  Please sign up outside of Ms Bennett's office if you're interested.

u of m   The U of M presentation for gr 12s who have already applied has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 29th at 1:10

Teddy Bear's Picnic   Is looking for volunteers on May 31st for face painting, crafts, souvenir sales, and general help. Sign up with Ms Bennett is you're interested.

volunteer hours   anyone looking for volunteer hours, or who would like to get paid at volleyball provincials next weekend at john taylor – see mr. schmeichel.

girls rugby   girls rugby is cancelled tonight. there are 3 games saturday against Kelvin, Tec Voc and Windsor Park. Be at maple grove rugby park at 10:00 am !!

boys rugby   Reminder to boys rugby players their first game is on Saturday at the Maple Grove Rugby Park.  Players are also reminded to submit their forms and athletic fees to Mr. Braun.

ultimate   There will be a meeting for the ultimate players going to nationals next Tuesday at lunch in Room 219.

boys soccer   games thursday at 5:45 at gordon bell and Friday at 4:30 at gordon bell.

beach volleyball   Any athletes interested in participating in the provincial beach volleyball tournament can see Ms. Reimer in room 113 for information.
