sound of music    Tickets for our production of The Sound of Music are on sale in the library.

Tickets cost $15.00 each, and are sold on a first-come-first-served basis.  Payment may be made by cash or cheque payable to Westwood Collegiate.  No credit cards or debit accepted.  Seat selection will take place at time of purchase.  Your ticket order receipt and confirmation will be forwarded by email, and/or tickets can be printed in the library of point of sale.

europe meeting   There will be a Europe Meeting Wednesday at noon in room 214 for all those students travelling to Belgium and France next year.  Everybody must attend.

math contest   the awards luncheon will take place tuesday, april 28^th from 12:15-12:50 in the home ec room. pizza and pop will be provided.

safegrad   mlcc will be here may 5^th at 10am to speak to our grade 12 students, and at 6:30 to speak to parents.

drama   all drama classes will be held in room 121 today and tomorrow.

grad   The safe grad parent committee is having a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser on Saturday May 2nd at the Applebees at Grant Park.

Career Talks    These presentations are open to all students at Westwood, they will address career specific information such as what the job is, how much can you make, what kind of training or schooling do you need and what do you need coming out of high school.  Medical Rehabilitation (physio, occupational and respiratory therapies) is coming up.  Please sign up outside of Ms Bennett's office if you're interested.

u of m   The U of M presentation for gr 12s who have already applied has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 29th at 1:10

ultimate   There will be a meeting for the ultimate players going to nationals  Tuesday at lunch in Room 219.

outdoor soccer   girls – the last tryout will be tuesday after school from 3:45-4:45.

beach volleyball   Any athletes interested in participating in the provincial beach volleyball tournament can see Ms. Reimer in room 113 for information.

rookie hockey   congrats to our boys for their 3-0 record at the rookie hockey tournament. they boys finished 5^th out of 20 teams.

rugby   girls rugby is cancelled today.  all girl members get out Wednesday at 3:00 for their games at maple grove . 

Congratulations to the Boys rugby team for an amazing effort on Saturday.  The team came away with a 3 and 1 record to start the season.  Scores from the games were: Westwood 15      Springfield 12,
