band best of luck to our Jazz
bands as they head off to the Optimist Jazz festival this week. All 3 of our jazz ensembles are in the
festival.
The Jr. Jazz plays on Thursday and the
Intermediate and Senior Jazz play on Saturday.
We wish all of our ensembles continued
success as they make their festival run.

Westwood Choirs, who performed - in the adjudicator's words - exquisitely -
Tuesday night at the Winnipeg Music Festival.
Special congratulations go out to our fine soloist, Peter for his
outstanding performance of Loch Lomond!!
manitoba mentors Students
interested in careers in the medical field - there will be a Manitoba Mentors
tour of the U of M Faculty of Medicine on Wednesday, March 15. Registration is
limited to 4 students, See ms. Mccormick
in Student services if you are interested. Deadline to register is this Friday.
Interested in learning about jobs in the
aerospace industry? See Ms. McCormick for an opportunity to hear from recent
grads in engineering, management, gas turbine repair and overhaul, technicians,
technologists, composite manufacturing, etc.

at 7:45 in Student Services. Site visit
plans are being made, so please plan to attend if you wish to visit a charity.
the event
it’s march 16th. tickets are on sale every morning, lunch and
after school outside of the office. $15 for the floor, $10 for the balcony. there are sign up sheets for grade 11
volunteers on the student council board in the front foyer. grade 12 students are asked to bring in $5 to
be used for prizes, or a prize. you can bring this to the office. the committee
is asking each grad to donate $5 towards silent auction prizes.

jv boys play St. Paul’s in the conference finals Thursday at Westwood at 7
PM. Come out and cheer the boys on to
