band Congratulations goes out
this morning to our Jr. Jazz Band who took perfect marks at the festival last
night. Not only did the team have an
exemplary performance that was way beyond their years (in one adjudicators words),
the adjudicators recognized: Brandt, Chelsea, Piper, Matt, Michelle, Brianna
and Brendan for their outstanding improvisation on their solos. They rhythm section of: Evan, Brianna, Kjersten, Matt, Brendan and
Maksym were also singled out for their high energy and mature performance.
Good luck to Intermediate and Sr. Jazz as
they perform at the Jazz festival this Saturday.
improv provincial finals are
saturday at mbci at 7 pm. admission is only $6. come out to cheer the squids
on!

grad retakes they
are march 15. there is a sign up for picture retakes outside of room 207.
aaa there will be a AAA committee meeting on
Friday March 1st at noon in room 215.
manitoba mentors Students
interested in careers in the medical field - there will be a Manitoba Mentors
tour of the U of M Faculty of Medicine on Wednesday, March 15. Registration is
limited to 4 students, See ms. Mccormick
in Student services if you are interested. Deadline to register is this Friday.
Interested in learning about jobs in the
aerospace industry? See Ms. McCormick for an opportunity to hear from recent
grads in engineering, management, gas turbine repair and overhaul, technicians,
technologists, composite manufacturing, etc.
the event
it’s march 16th. tickets are on sale every morning, lunch and
after school outside of the office. $15 for the floor, $10 for the balcony. there are sign up sheets for grade 11
volunteers on the student council board in the front foyer. grade 12 students are asked to bring in $5 to
be used for prizes, or a prize. you can bring this to the office. the committee
is asking each grad to donate $5 towards silent auction prizes.

Huge thank-you to the tons of fans who came out to watch the JVB Boys
Championship game last night. Although
the boys came up a little short, they had a fantastic season. Congratulations boys, there will be a meeting
in room 204 at 12:30 for all team members.
