studies With
the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War, the Westwood
Collegiate Social Studies department is planning a Canadian Battlefields Tour
in March 2014. The 10 day tour of
Northern France and southern Belgium will include: Passchendaele, In Flanders Field Museum, The
Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate Memorial, Vimy Memorial, and other First
World War cemeteries, museums, monuments and battlefields. See the information posted outside Mr.

to the girls hockey team who defeated CJS 3-2.
Goals were scored by Katya, Brynn, and Nikk who scored the winner.
