TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2013 DAY 6




Our school has set up this blog for our daily announcements. Those interested can go to the following site and sign up to get our announcements sent directly to their email account.


band   best of luck to our Jazz bands as they head off to the Optimist Jazz festival this week.  All 3 of our jazz ensembles are in the festival.
The Jr. Jazz plays on Thursday and the Intermediate and Senior Jazz play on Saturday. 
We wish all of our ensembles continued success as they make their festival run.

improv   there is another show tonight at 7 pm at the forrest nickerson theatre, 285 pembina highway.

cafeteria   tuesday – tacos & kd, Wednesday – pasta, caesar salad & brownie mudslides, Thursday – kielbasa & perogy meal, friday – fingers & fries.

yip   YIP is meeting this Friday, at 7:45 in Student Services.  Site visit plans are being made, so please plan to attend if you wish to visit a charity.

the event   it’s march 16th. tickets are on sale every morning, lunch and after school outside of the office. $15 for the floor, $10 for the balcony.  there are sign up sheets for grade 11 volunteers on the student council board in the front foyer.  grade 12 students are asked to bring in $5 to be used for prizes, or a prize. you can bring this to the office.

gym riot   students interested in participating can sign up on the student council board – either as a single, or as a partner or group..

math extra help   mondays and thursdays in room 115.

Racketlon   badminton this week at lunch for anybody interested.

badminton   practice tuesday at 8 pm.

girls hockey   Any girls interested in playing girls hockey next year are to attend a meeting this wednesday in room 217 at 12:03.

basketball   The JV Boys Basketball Team play today at Westwood at 4:30 in the conference semi-final, come out and cheer on the boys as they look to win the championship.
