band Congratulations to the Gr.
12 Concert Band for their fantastic performance Friday night at the Optimist
festival. Their exciting performance and
their mature sound was high-lited by the adjudicators.
best of luck to our Jazz bands as they
head off to the Optimist Jazz festival this week. All 3 of our jazz ensembles are in the
festival.
The Jr. Jazz plays on Thursday and the
Intermediate and Senior Jazz play on Saturday.
We wish all of our ensembles continued
success as they make their festival run.
cas there is a meeting tuesday
at lunch in the ib lounge.
yip YIP is meeting this Friday,
at 8:45 in Student Services. Site visit
plans are being made, so please plan to attend if you wish to visit a charity.
art majors those students going to plug in gallery
this morning are to meet in the front foyer at 8:45.
the event
it’s march 16th. tickets are on sale every morning, lunch and
after school outside of the office. $15 for the floor, $10 for the balcony. there are sign up sheets for grade 11
volunteers on the student council board in the front foyer. grade 12 students are asked to bring in $5 to
be used for prizes, or a prize. you can bring this to the office.
gym riot
students interested in participating can sign up on the student council
board – either as a single, or as a partner or group. Sign up by Monday at
noon, or it will be cancelled.
course selection guides are available in the office. students
are reminded to hand in their completed registration forms, and if they haven’t
already done so, pick up report cards.
math extra help
mondays and thursdays in room 115.
Racketlon
is our next intramural. Anyone interested in playing Badminton,
Indoor Tennis and Table Tennis at lunch please read the information on the
bulletin board outside the gym.
It will begin on Feb 25. Any questions see Mr. Ross.
badminton all
interested badminton team members are expected to practice at lunch this week
in the gym.
girls hockey JUst
a reminder that all jerseys need to be washed and handed back by the end of the
week.
Any girls interested in playing on a
3-on-3 spring team for hockey. There
will be a meeting at lunch on wednesday. See Mr. Hiebert for details.
basketball the
jv girls basketball team plays oak park at 6:15 Monday night , we would like
support from the school at our game.
