grade 12 meeting   There will be a very important information session for all grade 12s who have been accepted into the U of W and the U of M on Thursday May 19th.

U of M – 9:30 am in the theatre
U of W - 11:00 am in the theatre

This is an essential meeting to prepare future students for their first semester in university and all those who have been accepted should attend.

paint night   our next fundraiser is wednesday, may 25 from 7-9 pm in the art room.  cost is $30, first come, first served. reserve your spot by emailing to kzapotochny@sjsd.net.

wizard of oz   congratulations to mrs. russell, mr. toms and all of our grade 9 & 10 musical theatre students who put on a spectacular rendition of the wizard of oz!

dance festival   congrats to the grade 11 & 12 general class, the core dance ensemble and the dance advanced classes who all did a wonderful job performing in the festival on sunday.

dancescapes    it takes place june 12 at 7:30 pm at mtyp at the forks. tickets are available on the school website.

WSU   THE CANDLELIGHT VIGIL WILL TAKE PLACE TUESDAY MAY 17TH AT 7:00PM IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL.  meet at lunch monday and wednesday in 112.

wsu movie night   what’s eating gilbert grape wednesday from 4-6, free admission. free popcorn!

Soccer camp   If you are interested in working or volunteering at a soccer camp in the summer, please see Ms. Sheldon for more details.

assignments   the last date to hand in assignments is june 10.

westfest is may 27th   sign up on the student council board.

community service hours   Grade 12 students applying for awards and scholarships are reminded to submit their community involvement activity log forms.  Students need 40 hours logged to qualify for a St. James-Assiniboia Diploma.  Log forms are available in the office and, when signed by supervisor, can be returned to the office.

Any students wanting to volunteer at the Teddy Bear picnic on May 29th can see Ms. Sheldon to sign up. 

Ultimate   Players travelling to Oshawa are reminded to get their forms in to Mr. Shoesmith ASAP.

beach volleyball   Anyone interested in playing beach volleyball make sure you get permission forms in to Mr. Enns as soon as possible. Also there will be a practice tomorrow at 3:30.

boys soccer   Next game will be Monday, May 9th at 16:45 at St. Paul's High School.

intramural FLOOR HOCKEY  playoffs are on! check the schedule outside of the gym.
