wear your rainbow on Friday, May 15 to recognize the international day against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia. bracelets are on sale on the 15^th for only $2 in the front foyer.

westfest   anyone interested in performing at westfest on may 29^th is asked to sign up on the student council board.

pisa   Attention all students involved with the PISA assessment.  There will be a meeting on Thursday at 11:30 in the Math Lab to complete the final component.  Please bring your materials from your P.3 class to the math lab.

cafeteria   thursday – “christmas in May” with all the trimmings.

grad   if you’re interested in being our graduating class valedictorian, or giving the toast to the staff, attend a meeting may 19^th at noon in room 207.

if you weren’t at the grade 12 grade level meeting on tuesday, pick forms up in the office.

grad car wash will take place saturday, may 23^rd from 9-4 at the canadian tire gas station on portage at bedson. sign up outside of room 207 – lots of grads need to be involved.

gsa   The GSA is hosting an art contest for all Westwood students. The topic is "endorsing equality and acceptance" and the prize is a $30.00 Subway card. See the posters around the school, or stop by the art room for more details. Contest deadline is June 1st.

visual and graphic arts   All first semester Visual Arts students who had artwork in For the Love of the Arts can pick up their work in the art room.

Students who took Graphic Technology and had their works held back for displays can pick up their artwork in room 210 by Friday, May 22. After that date the work will be recycled or donated to interested parties.

Career Talks    all those who have signed up with ms. bennett, be aware that the presentation takes place may 13^th at 9 am.

beach volleyball   If you are interested in participating in the provincial beach volleyball tournament, see Ms. Reimer by may 13^th in room 113 for information.

cheerleading   reminder to bring money in to your team windup by the end of the week, or it will be cancelled.
