band   Congratulations to all of the band students for an absolutely amazing performance last night.  Audience members were absolutely thrilled with your dynamic performances.  Your well earned standing ovation was a testament to all of the countless hours you have put in to make music at such an impressive level. 

Up next is the final Jazz Band concert on Tuesday the 2nd at 7:00PM.  Everyone is welcome to come out for a truly unforgettable evening of smashing jazz music.

dancescapes   it’s sunday, june 14^th at 7:30pm at the mtyp theatre at the forks. tickets are $12, and available in our school library.

library  any outstanding library materials and/or overdue fines have to be cleared as soon as possible. Failure to do so will result in the withholding of report cards and transcripts for grade 12 students.

volunteer opportunity   St James Minor Baseball is hosting PeeWee AAA provincial championships from Friday, July 31 through Sunday August 2 at Optimist Park in St James.  they are looking for volunteers to help out with the canteen, gate, score keeping and pitch counting during the weekend.  If you are interested and available, please contact Kristal Benton at akbenton5@gmail.com.

drive application   pick up an application form in the office, if you want to be part of our drive leadership team next year. They are due back to mr. shoesmith or ms. overby by june 3.

gsa   The GSA is hosting an art contest for all Westwood students. The topic is "endorsing equality and acceptance" and the prize is a $30.00 Subway card. See the posters around the school, or stop by the art room for more details. Contest deadline is June 1st.

DRIVE   Any students interested in DRIVE leadership for 2015-2016 should submit their application form to the office in the next week.

athletic banquet   it’s Monday, June 8^th at 4:30. If you’ve paid your $40 athletic fee, you can get a complimentary ticket from mrs. sheldon. If you haven’t paid your fee, tickets are $10 from the office.
