choral Cabaret Solo Night is tonight at 7:00 PM in
the theatre. All are invited to come out and enjoy this evening of Broadway and
jazz tunes song by our Choral Major students, and accompanied by jazz pianist,
Jonathan Alexiuk!
Also, there will be a special pre-show
concert given by our national vocal jazz ensemble, at 6:30 PM in the theatre
tonight. Come out and give this awesome
group a great sendoff - Emily, Piper, Aly, Lindsay, Hailey, Cam, Tim, Owen, Peter Josh - as they perform the set they will sing at
MusicFest Canada tomorrow in Toronto!!
grad if you’re
interested in being our graduating class valedictorian, or giving the toast to
the staff, attend a meeting may 19th at noon in room 207.
if you weren’t at the grade 12 grade
level meeting on tuesday, pick forms up in the office.
grad car wash will take place saturday,
may 23rd from 9-4 at the canadian tire gas station on portage at
bedson. sign up outside of room 207 – lots of grads need to be involved.
gsa The GSA is
hosting an art contest for all Westwood students. The topic is "endorsing equality
and acceptance" and the prize is a $30.00 Subway card. See the posters
around the school, or stop by the art room for more details. Contest deadline
is June 1st.

visual and graphic arts All first semester Visual
Arts students who had artwork in For the Love of the Arts can pick up their
work in the art room.
Students who took Graphic Technology and had their
works held back for displays can pick up their artwork in room 210 by Friday, May
22. After that date the work will be recycled or donated to interested parties.
