grad dinner tickets   students/parents can go online to purchase tickets. go to our school website, and follow the schoolcashonline link.

cafeteria   Wednesday – strawberry shortcake, Thursday – lasagna.

westfest   there will be a meeting monday at noon in the theatre for all those who have signed up to perform.

blood donors needed   The last blood donor opportunity for this year will be next Tuesday, May 26th. The shuttle bus pick up will be at 12 noon and we will return at approximately 2:30.  Donors must be at least 17 years old and in good health.  Please sign up to save someone's life!  Permission forms are in the office.

grad   if you weren’t at the grade 12 grade level meeting, pick forms up in the office.

the grad car wash will take place saturday, may 23^rd from 9-4 at the canadian tire gas station on portage at bedson. sign up outside of room 207 – lots of grads need to be involved.

galapagos trip   students are reminded to get their pictures to mr. shoesmith asap.  slideshow and windup on the 28^th.

grad choral solo night   it’s this thursday, beginning at 7:30.  All are welcome to come out and support our grads - Josh, Emily, Hailey, Alana, Graham, and Cameron.

gsa   The GSA is hosting an art contest for all Westwood students. The topic is "endorsing equality and acceptance" and the prize is a $30.00 Subway card. See the posters around the school, or stop by the art room for more details. Contest deadline is June 1st.

visual and graphic arts   All first semester Visual Arts students who had artwork in For the Love of the Arts can pick up their work in the art room.

Students who took Graphic Technology and had their works held back for displays can pick up their artwork in room 210 by Friday, May 22. After that date the work will be recycled or donated to interested parties.

athletic camp scholarships   Any grade 9, 10 or 11 Westwood athlete who is planning on attending an athletic camp or compete on a provincial team over the summer is eligible to receive 1 of 4 cash scholarship. Please pick up an application form in the office. Forms are due to Mr. Schmeichel by Monday, May 25th.

girls fastball   girls play wednesday afternoon – game is at 2pm at buhler park in transcona. the team will be leaving school at 12:03.

badminton   the westwood badminton club will run every Wednesday night until 7-9:30 here beginning this wednesday. All students are welcome to come out!
