late start tuesdays  will take place evERY Tuesday beginning September 16th, teachers are participating in Professional Learning Community meetings resulting in a school start time at 9:00. EVERY TUESDAY, class times are: Period 1 9:00-9:57, Period 2 10:00-10:57, Period 3 11:00-12:03. Afternoon class times are not affected.

international students    All Exchange students to Rm. 213 at 8:30 AM for ISP Orientation. The orientation may take period 1 and period 2. 

Drive   Period 3 Challenges begin today!

DRIVE leadership is sponsoring weekly challenges on THursdays at the end of Period 3.  Have fun competing as the winning class each semester will win a catered lunch!  The challenge will be posted to the Westwood Conference at 11:45 am.

student parking  scramble for this week. students can go online beginning september 13^th to purchase a spot.

hockey academy   report to the library for period 3 today and tomorrow.

woods 20g   begins monday, sept. 8^th. bus leaves westwood at 7:45 am from the rouge corner. students report to the library until monday.

cross country   There will be a meeting in the fitness centre at 3:30 for anyone interested in running cross country. Please see Ms Sheldon if you have any questions.

girls hockey  Any girls interested in playing hockey are to attend a meeting on Thursday at noon in room 217. If you cannot make it you must see mr Hiebert before this date.

Boys hockey   there will be a meeting Thursday and lunch in room 111 for all interested students – bring your lunches. Dryland Friday after school.

ULTIMATE   Ultimate tryouts are this Thursday (September 4th) from 6 - 7:30 at Westwood in the field and on Saturday from 9-12 at A7 Assiniboine park. Girls and guys from grades 9-12 can try out. Travel to nationals in Vancouver is a possibility for the spring.

volleyball   Varsity Boys and Girls 1st 2 tryouts are Thursday at 7:30. Please see Mr. Schmeichel or Ms. Reimer if you have any questions.  

The JV Girls tryouts are Thursday at 3:30pm, friday at lunch. See Mr. Sdrolias if you have any questions
