late start tuesdays  begin tomorrow. also, early dismissal in the afternoon.

tabs for harley   we’re collecting can tabs for harley, a little boy in our neighbourhood who needs a wheelchair. bring them in to the office.

student parking  beginning tuesday, only students who have paid for parking and received a parking pass from the office are eligible to park in the student lot.

gsa   The Gay Straight Alliance will be meeting after school on Tuesday in the art room. Everyone is welcome!

walk!!  Mr. Soulatzkoff is challenging Westwood to walk 100 miles this year! You can walk inside or outside, a little at a time or a bunch all at once--prizes, T-shirts and a celebration lunch will be given to successful Walkers! See Mr. S. in room 212 for details.

galapagos trip   parent meeting wednesday at 5:30.

remembrance day   Any cadets interested in participating in this year's Remembrance Day service are to see Mr. Braun in the Office.

als   congrats to our ice bucket challenge participant – over $300 was raised brummitt-feasbey house in crestview!

run for the cure   still need 8 students to sign up by friday for the run october 5. see mr. shoesmith in 219 for more info.

drive   dress and talk like a pirate day on friday.  top costume will receive two tickets to the dance.

yip   the first meeting is tuesday after school at 2:50 in student services.

improv   auditions will take place after school monday, Wednesday and Thursday next week. sign up outside of the drama room.

dance company auditions   will be at 3:30 wednesday in the dance studio.

drive   if you want to perform on the cafeteria stage, find the pink box in the caf and fill out a form.

volunteers needed   for a rummage sale put on by anavets in october. see ms. bennett if you’re interested. volunteer hours will be awarded.

volleyball   Congratulations to the jv girls volleyball team on their 5th place finish at the MBCI tournament on the weekend.  The team played very well in all areas of the game, especially on offense!  The girls play tonight here at home vs Stonewall at 6:30.  Come out and support the team!

girls hockey  Just a reminder that the girls hockey team has a meeting at lunch today in room 217.

They also have their first exhibition game today at 4pm versus Springfield. Girls are to be dismissed at 3pm for their game.
