The Warrior Egg hunt continues today! The warrior rabbit has left some easter eggs in Westwood's hallways.  If you find one, please bring it to Mr. Braun and you will be entered into a draw to be made on Thursday for a wonderful Easter treat!  All eggs are in the open and not near emergency devices.

 

grad steak dinner   it’s on wednesday. tickets are $20 – available in the office.

 

volunteer opportunity   winnipeg lost dog alert is hosting an event on Saturday, May. 3rd from 11am - 4:00 and needs students to volunteer. see ms. bennett for more details.

 

cafeteria   tuesday – tacos and mexitots, Wednesday – pasta and caesar salad with cupcakes, thursday – fingers and fries.

 

chicago   Students who participated in Chicago trip can bring their photos on a USB stick to Mr. Cichosz in room 210. Make sure you preview your photos ahead of time and bring only those you want to share with others. The deadline for submitting photos is Monday, April 21. After that date Mr. Cichosz will compile all photos and create a DVD that can be pre-ordered for $2. The ordering deadline is Monday April 28.

 

tadd   there will be a TADD meeting on Wednesday April 16th at noon.  Pizza will be provided.

 

flota    congratulations to our arts department and students for a great show last night.

 

girls outdoor soccer   There will be a short meeting on Wednesday, April 16th in room 214 for all girls interested in playing outdoor soccer this year.  The meeting will begin right at 12:03.  You must be in attendance if you wish to play.

 

Dragon Boat Racing  If you are interested in being a part of Westwood's 1st ever Dragon Boat Team and want to help raise money and awareness for Cancercare Manitoba please sign-up outside the gym. See Mr. Schmeichel or Bailey Kaye if you have any questions.

 

Leadership  All leadership students from the 1st semester must see Mr. Schmeichel before the end of the week.

 

girls rugby    girls rugby has a practice this thursday at 8:00pm

get your clothing money in to ms. ammeter asap.

 

badminton   practice today for all doubles teams at Lincoln middle school at 5:15 today.

Good luck to all singles players going to Fort Richmond. We will meet at the front doors at 3:15.

 

peace gardens athletic camp   any athletes interested in attending this summer – there are information sheets available in the office.

 

Floor Hockey sign-up is posted outside the gym. Sign-up by Tuesday at 3:30pm. $20 deposit is due to Mr.Schmeichel before Wednesday
