The Warrior Egg hunt starts today! The warrior rabbit has left some easter eggs in Westwood's hallways.  If you find one, please bring it to Mr. Braun and you will be entered into a draw to be made on Thursday for a wonderful Easter treat!  All eggs are in the open and not near emergency devices.

volunteer opportunity   winnipeg lost dog alert is hosting an event on Saturday, May. 3rd from 11am - 4:00 and needs students to volunteer. see ms. bennett for more details.

grade 11, 12 lunch art major class is cancelled today.

 

chicago   Students who participated in Chicago trip can bring their photos on a USB stick to Mr. Cichosz in room 210. Make sure you preview your photos ahead of time and bring only those you want to share with others. The deadline for submitting photos is Monday, April 21. After that date Mr. Cichosz will compile all photos and create a DVD that can be pre-ordered for $2. The ordering deadline is Monday April 28.

 

tadd   there will be a TADD meeting on Wednesday April 16th at noon.  Pizza will be provided.

 

yip   The next Youth in Philanthropy meeting will be  Tuesday morning at 8:15.  Please plan to attend as we will be planning our year end celebration.

 

flota    The Westwood Collegiate Arts Advisory Group is pleased to present” P.O.P. Goes the Arts!” For Love of the Arts Student Showcase on Monday, April 14th, 2014 at Westwood Collegiate.

This year, there will be assigned seating, $13 per ticket, $90 for a table of 8. Tickets will go on sale in the library on Monday, March 10th, 2014. The Gallery will open at 5:30PM, doors to the gym will open at 6pm, the show will start at 7pm. There will be a 50/50 draw as well as a door prize! Light refreshments will be provided.

basketball   there will be a mandatory meeting today at 12:05 in room 213 (Mr. Alexiou's room) for all boys interested in playing basketball next year. We repeat, this meeting is MANDATORY.

 

outdoor track   any students interested are to meet mr. sdrolias in the fitness centre at 12:03.
