thursday and friday in front of the caf, peer support will be selling gum and
condoms for $1.50 to promote making responsible decisions. all proceeds will go
to the canadian mental health association.
matchmakers are on sale every day this week at lunch in front of
the caf for only $2.
Manitoba Mentors is offering another industry tour of Standard Aero on
Feb 19th. If you would like to go, see Ms.Mccormick for a permission slip. She
only has 3 spots available

post-secondary tours Gr 12s,
Post-secondary tours are fast approaching. Take this opportunity to get a feel
for what college or university will be like. Red River's tour is Tues, Feb 18th
from noon - 3:00, U of W is Wed, Feb 19th from 9:00-2:00 and U of M is Thur,
Feb 20th from 9:00 - 2:00. You can pick
up permission forms and parking information from Ms Bennett's office. Forms are due back by Friday, Feb 14th.

their portfolios from Mr. Cichosz in room 210 during lunch hour.
Attention Grade 12 students If
you want to be considered for automatic entrance scholarships, make sure you
apply to the U of M by February 21st and the U of W by March 1st.
boys hockey congrats to
the boys – they won by a score of 3-2 in a shootout over garden city.
girls hockey This wednesday the Westwood Girls Hockey Team will be
taking on Lorette at KW at 2:30pm. Students
will have the opportunity to get out of their period 6 classes by paying 2.00
and the money will be going to help create wellness kits for the homeless. Our girls would love to see lots of support
as we try to finish the season 19-1.
Pizza and prizes will be awarded to the loudest fans.
indoor track There will
be an indoor track practice tuesday at 3:30.
basketball Congratulations
to the varsity boys basketball team for their victory last night against
Portage la Prairie. The boys overcame an early deficit and stayed mentally
tough throughout the game. Their next game is tomorrow at 4:30 at Grant Park.
