monday – pj day with cereal sorting at lunch in the caf

tuesday – wear blue for mental health awareness. creat a tye dye shirt at lunch

wednesday – retro day with rock band at lunch in the theatre

thursday – tye dye day. twister at lunch

friday – holiday wear day with rock the halls from 12-1:30 in the theatre.

 

grad clothing   if you missed the opportunity to order grad clothing, there will be another chance from january 6th-10th. orders will be taken before school, at lunch and after school in front of the office. see ms. walterson if you have any questions.

 

the event   event signup will run until friday, december 13^th. grade 12 students can sign up in the office at any time in groups of 4, 3, 2 or 1. forms will be available beside the sign-up box. please make sure only one form per group is submitted. all seniors are welcome! no groups will be accepted after the 13^th, so remember to get your group in before then.

also, any grade 12 students interested in mc-ing can audition monday, december 9^th at lunch in 206.

 

hat day   everyone is invited to help support the christmas cheer board this friday by taking part in hat day. pay a toonie, get your hand stamped, and wear your favourite hat all day. tables will be set up on friday morning in front of the office and at the rouge doors to collect money and to give out stamps. all proceeds are going to collecting food items that will be donated to the cheer board.

 

cafeteria  thursday – nachos, friday – fingers & fries.

next week – christmas dinner with all the trimmings on thursday!

computer science week   next week is computer science week!  students will have the opportunity to spend one hour along with over 3,000,000 other students in n. america to participate in an hour of code.

 

legally blonde   tickets are available in our library - $12 each. shows are december 6,7,11,12,13, and 14.

 

MATH EXTRA HELP   Extra help will take place every Tues and Wed at lunch in room 115 from 12:15 to 1:00.  All students are welcome.

 

3rd Annual Pre-Christmas Floor Hockey Showcase Tournament  If you would like to compete in the 3rd Annual Pre-Christmas Floor Hockey Showcase Tournament, sign up as an individual player outside the gym by Thursday, December 5th at 3:30pm. it runs from december 10-17.

 

broomball   if you like having fun, missing school, and raising money for a good cause – kidsport - , then sign up for our annual broomball tournament on december 19^th. Return your sign up sheet to the folder outside of the gym.

 

indoor track   Indoor Track Practices are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 3:30 this week.

 

girls soccer   congratulations to the westwood girls soccer team who defeated kelvin 5 to 2 at the u of m.

 

curling   all teams have a practice thursday at assiniboine.
