3rd Annual Pre-Christmas Floor Hockey Showcase Tournament  If you would like to compete in the 3rd Annual Pre-Christmas Floor Hockey Showcase Tournament, sign up as an individual player outside the gym by Thursday, December 5th at 3:30pm.

 

Candlelight concert  Congratulations to Mrs. Russell and Westwood's Chamber Choir for their wonderful performance last night at the Division's Candlelight Choral Concert held at Pantages Theatre.  Special Congratulations to Allison Fletcher for her solo performance.  Well done choristers!

 

the event   event signups begin today, and will run until friday, december 13th. grade 12 students can sign up in the office at any time in groups of 4, 3, 2 or 1. forms will be available beside the sign-up box. please make sure only one form per group is submitted. all seniors are welcome!

also, any grade 12 students interested in mc-ing can audition monday, december 9th at lunch in 206.

 

hat day   everyone is invited to help support the christmas cheer board this friday by taking part in hat day. pay a toonie, get your hand stamped, and wear your favourite hat all day. tables will be set up on friday morning to collect money and to give out stamps. all proceeds are going to collecting food items that will be donated to the cheer board.

 

cafeteria   tuesday – tacos in a bag & mexitots, cupcakes for dessert, Wednesday – pasta & caesar salad, thursday – nachos, friday – fingers & fries.

next week – christmas dinner with all the trimmings on thursday!

 

canadian battlefields tour   There will be a short meeting for all students going on the Canadian Battlefields trip this March.  The meeting will take place Wednesday at 12:03 in room 214

yip   there will be a meeting friday at 8am. you will be taking your committee photo.

 

computer science week   next week is computer science week!  students will have the opportunity to spend one hour along with over 3,000,000 other students in n. america to participate in an hour of code.

 

legally blonde   tickets are available in our library - $12 each. shows are december 6,7,11,12,13, and 14.

 

AAA  There will be a AAA meeting on Tuesday at lunch in rm 215. If you cannot attend please see Mr. Fewer .

 

MATH EXTRA HELP   Extra help will take place every Tues and Wed at lunch in room 115 from 12:15 to 1:00.  All students are welcome.

 

cheerleading    there will be a brief cheer meeting tuesday at 12:03 in room 115.

 

broomball   if you like having fun, missing school, and raising money for a good cause – kidsport - , then sign up for our annual broomball tournament on december 19th. Return your sign up sheet to the folder outside of the gym.

 

indoor track   Indoor Track Practice are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 3:30 this week.

 

girls  hockey   The girls also play this Thursday at kw at 4 pm. We would love to see staff and students out to help keep our girls undefeated.

Just a reminder that there is dryland today at 240 in the fitness center.

 

curling     congrats to our teams who both won yesterday. girls defeated vb 7-3, and ww1 boys defeated sturgeon 12-1.
