late start tuesdays   Due to provincial exams, late start Tuesdays will be cancelled for the month of January. Late start will resume on Tuesday February 11th.

galapagos islands   a reminder – if you enroll for the trip and monthly payment plan before the end of December. and $100 discount will be applied.

extreme weather   Metro superintendents check the weather in the morning and make a determination as to whether or not buses are cancelled for the day in the Metro area. -45 degrees Celsius or colder (with wind chill) is one of the determining factors. Once a decision is made to cancel school buses, a synrevoice message will then be sent out to all parents and principals. The news media is also alerted to cancellations and Division websites are updated to reflect any announcement. Parents of bussed students can then determine whether or not they want to send/drive their children to school.

basketball   Could you please announce that the "varsity boys basketball team be excused from their period 5 and 6 classes today for their final tournament game at St. James Collegiate.

 

Congrats to the JV boys basketball team on their win last night.  They won by 1 in a hard fought battle against Vincent Massey.  Good luck in your game tonight at 4:00 at St. James Collegiate. 

 

Congratulations to the jv girls bball team on a well played win over Vincent Massey. The girls got down early in the game but were able to fight back and take the win. Great job girls.
