volunteer opportunity   There is a volunteer opportunity for a gr 11 student at the Iceplex. Student must have a valid driver's license, be able to to do physical labour lifting up to 50lbs, have transportation out to the Complex and flexible after-school and weekend availability.

bike locks   students who bike to school are strongly encouraged to purchase a u-lock, as chain locks are very easy to cut and there have been attempted thefts throughout the division.

 

ib exam today   bells will be off – please be quiet in the downstairs hallway.

 

dancescapes  it takes place june 11 & 12 at 7:30pm at mtyp at the forks. tickets are $13 and are available through out website.

 

march of the penguins   There will be a showing of March of the Penguins today at 4 PM in the theater in support of wildlife rehabilitation. There will be snacks for sale before and during the event; the proceeds will go towards the Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. A form must be signed to see the movie due to copyrights, forms will be available outside the drama room.

There will be brownies, cookies, and other assorted desserts for sale in front of the drama room today at lunch and after school in support of wildlife rehab! Everything is 50 cents each.

 

pride Parade   Students and staff wishing to walk with the WSU in the Pride Parade, Sunday, June 4th, please see Mrs. Teichroew in the art room for more details!

 

westfest   it’s may 26th. sign up on the student council board.

volunteer opportunity   Anyone interested in making some money or receiving volunteer hours is to see Mr Hiebert as he is looking for hockey timekeepers and people to play music at home games.

 

beach volleyball   anyone interested in playing this year is to go to the gym at lunch for a quick meeting.

 

intramural floor hockey   Playoffs continue tuesday.
