safe teen   the morning session will begin at 9:30 this morning. grade 10 girls are to go to the cave, grade 10 boys are to go to room 215.

 

student council  prospective candidates are reminded to report to room 219 at your designated appointment time at lunch today.

 

Parent Council   The next meeting is May 25th at 7pm.

 

grad   information is available in the office for valedictorian and toast to the staff auditions. Valedictorian auditions are Wednesday, May 24th at lunch, and toast to the teachers is thursday, may 25th in room 214.

 

volunteer opportunity   There is a volunteer opportunity for a gr 11 student at the Iceplex. Student must have a valid driver's license, be able to do physical labour lifting up to 50lbs, have transportation out to the Complex and flexible after-school and weekend availability.

bike locks   students who bike to school are strongly encouraged to purchase a u-lock, as chain locks are very easy to cut and there have been attempted thefts throughout the division.

ib exam today   bells will be off this afternoon – please be quiet in the downstairs hallway.

 

dancescapes  it takes place june 11 & 12 at 7:30pm at mtyp at the forks. tickets are $13 and are available through out website.

volunteer opportunity   Anyone interested in making some money or receiving volunteer hours is to see Mr Hiebert as he is looking for hockey timekeepers and people to play music at home games.

 

track   congrats to the outdoor track team for surviving hurricane-like winds in selkirk yesterday. despite the weather, we had some great performances. ryan won the boys shot put and set a personal best. there will be no practice today, but the team is to meet at lunch in room 210 with their uniforms for a pic.

 

online phys ed   deadline for hours is next friday.
