envirothon congrats
to alison, chase, jarrid, sean and luke for winning the provincial envirothon
competition over the weekend at the international peace gardens. they now move
on to represent manitoba at the end of july.

grade 9 immunizations they take place during
period 1 june1st in the drama room. make sure to have a good breakfast and wear

youth employment services on Monday
June 5th from 11:30 - 1 Youth Employment Services (YES) will have a hallway
information booth for students looking for summer work. They will assist in
resume writing, interview skills and job search skills. Our divisional Career
Coordinator will also be present to advise on work/credit options.
university of winnipeg Wednesday June 7th at 8:30am,
U of W will be presenting on how to register for courses to all gr12s who have
applied/been accepted.
student council elections the
campaigns are underway. speeches will take place june 1st with advance polls
june 1st after school and election day polls june 2nd from 8-1.
drama senior company join us for a presentation
of woody allen’s “God and Death”. it runs june 6, 7, 8, and 9 at 7pm. admission
is $10.
exam schedule it’s available online or in the office. There
is also a form that needs to be submitted to the office if you are going to be
away during exams.
bike locks students who bike to school are strongly encouraged to purchase a
u-lock, as chain locks are very easy to cut and there have been attempted
thefts throughout the division.

Parade Students
walking in the Pride Parade should meet at the Leg at 9:30 AM on June 4th,
as the times have changed this year.

athletic awards presentations are june 6th
at 4:30 in the theatre. all athletes who have paid their athletic fee – their
coach from your first team will have your ticket.otherwise, the cost is $10 and
can be purchased from the office. If you
played hockey, volleyball or basketball and paid your athletic fee, see your
coach/teacher supervisor for your athletic banquet ticket. The rest of the
sports will be organized and handed out soon.
track & field Congratulations to all of the Track and Field
Athletes who competed in the WWAC conference meet. Here are some highlights from the event:
-Megan won
the Pentathlon and finished 3rd in the 400
-Ryan
won Shot Put and Javelin and placed 2nd in the Pentathlon
-Karley won
the 100m event and placed 2nd in the 200 and 3rd in Long Jump
-Marissa
placed third in the 100 and 200 meter events
-Madison
placed 2nd in Long Jump
-Melissa
placed 2nd in Shot Put and 3rd in Discus
-Alicia
placed 3rd in Javelin
-Ian placed 2nd in the 400 and High Jump
athletic camp scholarships If you are in grade 9, 10
or 11 and attending an athletic camp over the summer, you have a chance at 1 of
4 $150.00 scholarships. pick up an application form in the office. deadline is
tuesday, may 30th.
