student council elections   the campaigns are underway. speeches will take place june 1st with advance polls june 1st after school and election day polls june 2nd from 8-1.

 

exam schedule   it’s available online or in the office. There is also a form that needs to be submitted to the office if you are going to be away during exams.

 

Parent Council   The next meeting is May 25th at 7pm.

 

westfest   it’s friday from 11:30-1:30. classes will be one hour long all day.

 

cafeteria   thursday – poutinerie day, friday – bbq at westfest.

 

grad auditions   toast to the teachers – thursday at lunch in 214.

 

bike locks   students who bike to school are strongly encouraged to purchase a u-lock, as chain locks are very easy to cut and there have been attempted thefts throughout the division.

 

dancescapes  it takes place june 11 & 12 at 7:30pm at mtyp at the forks. tickets are $13 and are available through out website.

 

pride Parade   Students walking in the Pride Parade should meet at the Leg at 9:30 AM on June 4^th, as the times have changed this year.

there will be fundraising bake sales Wednesday and Thursday at lunch in the front foyer.

athletic awards   presentations are june 6^th at 4:30 in the theatre. all athletes who have paid their athletic fee – their coach from your first team will have your ticket.otherwise, the cost is $10 and can be purchased from the office.  If you played hockey, volleyball or basketball and paid your athletic fee, see your coach/teacher supervisor for your athletic banquet ticket. The rest of the sports will be organized and handed out today.

 

athletic camp scholarships   If you are in grade 9, 10 or 11 and attending an athletic camp over the summer, you have a chance at 1 of 4 $150.00 scholarships. pick up an application form in the office. deadline is tuesday, may 30^th.

 

badminton   Attention all Badminton team members that there will be a team picture taken Thursday at 11:55 am . Wear your team shirt and shorts.   The team will be dismissed at 11:45am.

 

baseball the conference final is this thursday at 1pm at the charleswood diamond.

 

girls rugby  girls rugby pictures will take place at 12:05 in the gym. Please be ready with your jersey on
