pre-exam meditation sessions Mr. Sdrolias
invites all students to prepare for exams by participating in meditation
sessions, beginning January 27th. They
are only 10 minutes in duration. Morning
sessions begin EXACTLY at 8:00 am and afternoon sessions at 12:30 pm. Students must be in the CAVE by 7:55 am and
12:25 pm, respectively. Late students
will not be allowed to enter.

february 13-17. the cost is $60 which includes the sitting fee and gown
rental. sign up outside of room 207.
know your semester 2 timetable so that you can sign up on a spare.

at the daily grind. if you’d like to perform, sign up on the student council
board at the front door.

winter choral concert “sure on this shining
night” - it’s january 19th in our theatre from 7-8:15pm. This concert is a
fundraiser.
Donate to Siloam Mission to win Jets Tix. for the Chicago Blackhawks
game Feb. 10th! Draw takes place at the concert this Thursday!
attendance students are reminded that
if they are going to miss three or more days of school, they need to fill out
the appropriate paperwork, which is available online or in the office.
also, if students are late, they must receive a late slip from the
office.
extra help room 117 is open tuesdays
and wednesdays from 12:15 to 1pm for extra help and study time for all
subjects!

girls hockey ctv sports star of the week! CTV Division:
Congratulations to Westwood Warriors’ Emily who’s goaltending gave her team a chance to win in two losses this
week. Emily started the week with 16 saves in Monday’s game against the Dakota
Lancers (4-2); and in an unreal performance against the Shaftesbury Titans
(4-0) on Friday, she made 56 saves!
boys hockey congrats to the boys for
their 5-4 win over transcona last night. they are dismissed for perios 6 today
as they play at dakota.
curling
congrats to our girls team who won their last
regular season game 15-0 over shaftesbury and finished the season with a record
of 5-1.
the boys #1 team won 7-5 over vincent massey and are currently
undefeated.
