exam stress   Ms. Bennett (our guidance counsellor) and Ms. Bonk (our school psychologist) are putting on lunch info sessions this week and next, open to all students to learn about Exam Stress, Good Study Strategies and Creating a Study Plan to help you do your best for your upcoming exams. If interested, please see the poster and sign up sheet on the door of Room 106, across from the caf. next session – monday at 12:30 – concentrating on exam prep. you are encouraged to bring your lunch to the session.

mission to mexico   A big thank you to Mr. Toms and the Dance classes for their generous contribution to mission to Mexico. The students at the School of Champions will be thrilled with the pencil cases you made for them, and filled with school supplies.

 

dropping classes & course changes    the deadline for dropping semester 1 classes is january 13^th.  if you want to add or change classes for semester 2, go to student services asap.

 

paintuary   see the posters around the school. due date for submissions is february 10.

 

matchmakers   there are blank forms in the office for students who didn’t yet fill one out.

winter choral concert   “sure on this shining night” - it’s january 19^th in our theatre from 7-8:15pm.

 

attendance   students are reminded that if they are going to miss three or more days of school, they need to fill out the appropriate paperwork, which is available online or in the office.

also, if students are late, they must receive a late slip from the office.

 

extra help   room 117 is open tuesdays and wednesdays from 12:15 to 1pm for extra help and study time for all subjects!

boys hockey   congrats to our boys for their 5-0 win over cjs last night. they are to be dismissed at 2:45 for their game today against shaftesbury.
