coffee house come out to support our creative music production class as they participate in a coffee house at san vito. it’s november 9th at 7pm – free admission!
drawcember enter to win – there are information posters around the school. images must be submitted to the art room on or before december 9. you can use pencil, pencil crayons, pastels, charcoal…but no ink! enter as many times as you like. prizes are displayed by the office.
make club Are you interested in 3D design such as character modelling, jewellery or parts design, 3D printing, coding, electronics, robotics, drones, CNC, and automation? Do you like to make stuff like you might see on pinterest or instructables? Do you want to learn to control LED lights to add to your projects? Have you heard of Arduino and Raspberry Pi and want to know what they are and what they can do? Do you have a cool idea for a project, but don't know where to start? remembrance day service We will be having a Remembrance Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 9th from 11:00-12:00 in the gym. Students will receive their poppies in Period 2 on November 9th. Please bring in change and donations.
joseph and the amazing technicolour dreamcoat grade 9 and 10 students who want to audition need to get the edmodo code from posters in the school. auditions take place dec. 15th.
europe trip a reminder to all participants that all forms have to be handed in to mr. aguirre, even if your passport form can’t be completed.
craft sale The sign-up sheet for the grad craft sale is now up outside of room 207. We need as many grads as possible to volunteer for this event. Please come by and check the schedule and sign up for one or more shifts on the weekend of November 24-26.

student services news - The University Fair will be held on Nov 3rd at Sturgeon Heights. It will be hosting a record number of universities from around the country this year. Interested gr 11 and 12 students are to sign up in Student Services.
- Lunch and Learn will begin in November. This is an opportunity to learn about possible careers and speak with professionals about their chosen field; a different career will be presented every 2 weeks. Up coming presentations for November are Engineering, Canadian Reserves and Skilled Trades. Please see Ms Bennett for more info and to sign up for any of the presentations.
extra help room 117 is open tuesdays and wednesdays from 12:15 to 1pm for extra help and study time for all subjects!
basketball There is a mandatory meeting at lunch for all boys interested in basketball this year that are NOT currently playing volleyball. Meeting will take place in Mr. Alexiou's room at 12:05 pm.
