undergrad awards   it takes place tuesday, september 20th at 2:30 in the gym. award winners need to return their reply. if you’re not sure whether or not you’re getting an award, check the list outside of the office.

 

aaa meeting tuesday at lunch in room 215.

 

bicycles Bikes should not be brought to school unless they can be secured with a heavy duty lock.

Students bringing bikes to school need to use a heavy duty solid steel u - shaped locks.  Cable locks can be cut.  We had an incident recently where a 30 year-old pedestrian cut a cable lock and stole a bike from our rack.

Community Police have been informed.

 

terry fox day   the terry fox run and walk takes place today during period 3. the cost to participate is a minimum donation of $2. students who wish to participate must report to their period 3 class for attendance, at which time the donations will be collected. students will then be called down to the theatre for a brief presentation at 11am before the run and walk begin. students who do not donate a minimum of $2 must remailn in class. 

 

cafeteria   cream of tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken finger burger and oreo cake.

 

informnet classes   Students registered for informnet courses:  Semester 1 Classes start on September 19. Students will receive their user data on the weekend of September 17.

remind app   go to our website to sign up for grade-specific notifications from our student-services department. parents can sign up as well.

 

late start tuesdays begin october 4.

 

student council   if any students want to join student council, pick up an application form in the office.

 

senior shirts   if you haven’t ordered one yet, there are order forms in the office. orders and payment are due back by september 30.

 

student parking   beginning tomorrow, students must have a parking tag displayed on their rear view mirror to park in the student lot.

 

volunteer opportunity   KWCC canteen is looking for volunteers. Come to the office or see Ms. bennett for more information.

 

girls hockey   dryland today for the girls hockey team at 330 in the fitness centre.

 

boys hockey   anyone interested in timekeeping boys hockey to see Mr. Miller is room 110.
