student council   if any students want to join student council, pick up an application form in the office.

 

senior shirts   if you haven’t ordered one yet, there are order forms in the office. orders and payment are due back by september 30.

 

westwood wear day  is friday.

students can pick up an order form in the office for westwood CLOTHING - the deadline is september 16^th.

 

peer support/gsa   The Westwood United (Peer Support and GSA) group will be meeting at noon in the library on Wednesday, Sept 14th. Everyone is welcome to attend! Students with peer support training are expected to attend.

 

student parking   students can park in the student lot (not including spots 102-112, which are allocated to staff) until September 18^th without a pass.

On september 17^th, you can go to schoolcashonline to pay the parking fee and bring your receipt to the office on the 18^th. You will be given a parking tag to display on your rear view mirror.

 

hockey academy   classes this week are in the math lab – Room 118. from sept. 12-16, there will be off ice workouts and equipment fittings at the iceplex. students will be bussed if their forms are handed in. sept. 19 – on ice classes begin.

 

digital arts   The Digital Arts Club will have their first short meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 14 after school in room 210. New members are welcome. If you have questions see Mr. Cichosz in room 210.

 

volunteer opportunity   KWCC canteen is looking for volunteers. Come to the office or see Ms. bennett for more information.

 

woods class   classes this week are in the library. classes start at lincoln next week.  the bus leaves westwood at the rouge doors at 7:45 am or you can get to lincoln on your own for 8am.

 

picture day is september 13^th. order forms are available in the office.

 

Ultimate   Tryouts for this year's ultimate team(s) will take place on Tuesday and Thursday next week (September 13 & 15) at 4:15 on the Westwood field.  Check the information posters around the school or see Mr. Shoesmith for more information.

 

girls hockey   Just a reminder that there is dryland training today at 3:30pm in the fitness centre.
