undergrad awards   it takes place tuesday, september 20th at 2:30 in the gym. award winners need to return their reply. if you’re not sure whether or not you’re getting an award, check the list outside of the office.

 

terry fox day   it’s this monday during period 3.  student council will be around to classes during period 1 on friday to provide more information and give out pledge forms.

 

informnet classes   Students registered for informnet courses:  Semester 1 Classes start on September 19. Students will receive their user data on the weekend of September 17.  If you are still waiting to register for online informnet courses, please drop by to see Mrs.Cordova this afternoon or Friday morning.  You can also send her a quick email.

 

remind app   go to our website to sign up for grade-specific notifications from our student-services department. parents can sign up as well.

 

grade 9 immunization   all grade 9 students received paperwork for their immunization which take place November 2^nd. the paperwork must be returned by this friday, whether or not you’re being immunized at school.

 

class changes   friday is the deadline to change classes. beginning next week, you’ll need to fill out a course change form.

student council   if any students want to join student council, pick up an application form in the office.

 

senior shirts   if you haven’t ordered one yet, there are order forms in the office. orders and payment are due back by september 30.

 

student parking   students can park in the student lot (not including spots 102-112, which are allocated to staff) until September 18^th without a pass.

On september 17^th, you can go to schoolcashonline to pay the parking fee and bring your receipt to the office on the 18^th. You will be given a parking tag to display on your rear view mirror.

 

volunteer opportunity   KWCC canteen is looking for volunteers. Come to the office or see Ms. bennett for more information.

 

intramurals   our first intramural is soccer.. sign up outside of the gym before thursday at 3:30.

 

Ultimate   Tryouts for this year's ultimate team(s) continue Thursday this week  at 4:15 on the Westwood field.  Check the information posters around the school or see Mr. Shoesmith for more information.

 

girls hockey   Congratulations to the girls hockey team for beating Kelvin 4-2 in their first exhibition game.  The girls take on Springfield today at 4 pm at kw and are to be dismissed at 3 pm.
