semester 2 timetable changes   students should be seeing one of the guidance counsellors now or during exam week to make changes.

super bowl tickets   grads are reminded to get your tickets back to the office asap.

cafeteria   hours during exam week are 7:30-1.

anime contest   We need more students to register for the Anime Drawing Contest by today, or it will be cancelled. Please see Mrs. Teichroew or Mr. Cichosz for a registration form.

aquatic science   if you have a spare during period 3 next semester and are looking for a challenging applied science course, see a guidance counsellor to sign up for aquatic science with mr. shoesmith.

drive   Drive is hosting a Coffee house at the Daily Grind on Sunday, February 22nd from 7-9pm and would love to showcase Westwood's amazing talent. If you are interested in performing, sign up outside the office on the student council board!

Gym riot sign up sheets are also on the student council board. Be sure to sign up either by yourself or with a friend by Friday, January 23^rd.

there is a quick drive dance committee today at lunch in room 219.

Day of Pink   The Day of Pink, which is an awareness day against discrimination and bullying, will take place on April 8 this year.  T-shirt orders for the Day of Pink will be taken all week in front of the cafeteria at lunch.  The t-shirts are only $5, so be sure to order one and wear it with pride on April 8.  Orders are due Friday, January 23.

choral   congratulations to mrs. russell and her choral students – they put on a great concert last night.

grad photos   they are February 9-13. sign up outside of room 207. cost is $60, which includes the sitting fee and your grad gown rental. Students and parents can go to schoolcashonline to pay for photos in advance – there is a link on our website.

soccer   boys’ Second play-off game is today at 15:30 at U of M.

rugby   Girls - mandatory meeting Friday at lunch in the resource room. Bring your fundraising cards.

hockey   Good luck to our girls hockey team who take on Springfield today at 4pm in springfield.  Girls are to be dismissed at 2pm unless they are writing an exam.
