exam schedule   our january exam schedule is available on line and in the office. please pick one up, check for conflicts, and report any to mr. braun.

grad photos   they are February 9-13. sign up outside of room 207. cost is $60, which includes the sitting fee and your grad gown rental. Students and parents can go to schoolcashonline to pay for photos in advance – there is a link on our website.

Safeteen   On Jan 12 and 13 ALL GR 10 STUDENTS will attend 1 of 8 Safeteen presentations.  There will be 2 presentations in the morning and 2 in the afternoon each day.  A list of names is posted at the office to determine which presentation you will attend. Please see Ms Bennett is you have any questions.
All morning sessions of safeteen have been moved back to 9:30, student should be attending pd1 and will be called out of class.

anime   Enter the Anime drawing contest advertised around the school. Registration is due by January 16th so see Mrs. Teichroew or Mr. Cichosz for a registration form. Great prizes are up for grabs so don't miss out!

basketball  Congratulations to the varsity boys basketball team for winning the Shaftesbury tournament over the weekend! The boys won a thriller over River East by 1 point on Friday night and had a couple great team wins to take home 1st place. Notable performances were shown by Steven, Adam, Brendan and Andrew. The boys play Daniel Mac tonight at 6:15 in the gym in a HUGE conference game for 1st place in the division! Come out and watch some great basketball!!!

soccer   congrats to the girls for a fantastic game on Friday, winnineg by a score of 4-0 over SJR. Heather and Karley both scored 2 goals and Sarah had the shutout. Good luck to the girls as they get ready for playoffs.

rugby   There will be a Boys Rugby meeting in RM 124 at 12:05 (Monday).  All boys interested in playing are to attend.

hockey   Congratulations to the girls hockey team who defeated river east 5-2 and outshot them 42-20. Goals were scored by Lauren who had two, Nikki and Claudia who also had two goals in the game.
Good luck as our girls take on kelvin today at river heights arena. Girls are to be dismissed at 230. There will also be a meeting at lunch.
