exam schedule   our january exam schedule is available on line and in the office. please pick one up, check for conflicts, and report any to mr. braun.

the event   signup for all interested grade 12s is in the office. sign up in groups of 4, 3, 2 or 1. deadline is december 5^th.

chamber choir   is cancelled tuesday and thursday mornings.

cafeteria         Wednesday – pasta, caesar salad with popcorn cake for dessert, thursday – christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

drive   Due to scheduling issues, the lip dub competition has been delayed until the first week of school in January.  Groups will now be given the opportunity to film their lip dub or choose to perform it live.  The $100 in Polo Park gift cards will still be the grand prize.  Please continue to sign up for the competition in order to register and obtain song approval.

family feud takes place december 12^th at lunch. the first four teams to sign up outside of the office will be participating.

rock the halls – it’s friday the 19^th. sign up on the student council board.

gsa   The GSA will be hosting a holiday craft sale on Thursday, Dec 11 and Friday, Dec 12 at lunch in the front foyer. If you are looking for stocking stuffers and hand crafted gifts this may be the sale you're looking for.

volunteer opportunity   kwcc needs volunteers for their sunday skates, every sunday from 1-2 pm. students need to be on the ice supervising young skaters. come to the office for more information.

aida   it runs december 8-13, at 7 pm. tickets are $12, available in the library.

toy challenge   mr. schmeichel’s leadership class presents westwood’s first ever gender wars! girls, boys and teachers are asked to collect gently used toys which will be donated towards the fire fighter toy drive. there will be boxes labelled boys, girls and teachers in front of the office until december 17^th.

hockey    boys – congrats to our boys for their big win over jh bruns last night. it was a great game. mitch led the way with a hat trick. tuesday’s workout has been moved to noon.

girls - Just a reminder that the girls hockey team has a practice today at 3:30pm. Girls are to be dismissed at 2:45pm

ski trip   there will be a meeting wednesday at 12:15 in the cave for anybody interested in going to assessipi feb. 23 and 24.

curling   congrats to all of our teams – it’s a three-peat! westwood curlers won big again with our girls winning 11-0 over oak park. the ww1 boys won 11-2, also over oak park 1, and ww2 boys won 10-5 over oak park 2. well done, boys.
