our january exam schedule is available on
line and in the office. please pick one up, check for conflicts, and report any
to mr. braun.
spirit week is december 15-19 monday – pj day with fruitcake and eggnog
competition at lunch.
Tuesday – holiday hats and ugly sweaters, carolling
in the caf at lunch, “A Christmas story” being shown in the caf from 6-8 pm.
pizza, drinks and snacks will be sold.
Wednesday – jocks vs nerds dress up, ornament
decorating in the caf.
Thursday – christmas vacation wear (appropriate
beachwear), broomball tournament in the pm
friday – holiday cheer day, rock the halls at lunch.
grade level meetings will be tuesday morning during period 1 and 2.
locker cleanup next thursday.
grad wear if you haven’t yet picked
it up, you can get it at lunch in 120.
cafeteria thursday – christmas
dinner with all the trimmings.
drive Due to scheduling issues, the lip dub
competition has been delayed until the first week of school in January. Groups will now be given the opportunity to
film their lip dub or choose to perform it live. The $100 in Polo Park gift cards will still
be the grand prize. Please continue to
sign up for the competition in order to register and obtain song approval.
family feud takes place december 12th at
lunch. the first four teams to sign up outside of the office will be
participating.
gsa The GSA will be hosting a holiday craft sale
on Thursday, Dec 11 and Friday, Dec 12 at lunch in the front foyer. If you are
looking for stocking stuffers and hand crafted gifts this may be the sale
you're looking for.
toy challenge mr. schmeichel’s leadership
class presents westwood’s first ever gender wars! girls, boys and teachers are
asked to collect gently used toys which will be donated towards the fire
fighter toy drive. there will be boxes labelled boys, girls and teachers in
front of the office until december 17th.
ski trip if
anyone has ski trip forms and deposits, please hand them in to Mr. Sdrolias.
hockey girls Good
luck to our girls hockey team who take on Dakota today at Keith Bodley. There will be a team
lunch today in room 217 as well.
girls soccer congrats to the girls for
their win over shaftesbury yesterday by
a score of 6-2. goals were scored by heather and hannah, who both had two, as
well as janina hambley and alicia prociuk. congrats, girls.
