europe trip a reminder
that there is a very important parent/student meeting march 14th at 6pm in the
theatre. it will be preceded by a student activity at 5pm in the cafeteria.
staff appreciation week westwood’s staff thanks all of our parent council members for the
wonderful treats all last week. Everything was very much appreciated!
career symposium for grade 11s. it’s at the convention
centre march 15. permission forms are available in ss, and due back monday.
volunteer opportunity if you need comunnity
service hours and would like the pleasure of watching your fellow students
perform, you can earn 4 hours by being an usher or server at flota on april 10th.

grad news: mlcc
representatives from manitoba liquor control commission will be here march 23rd
to speak to grade 12 students at 10am regarding safe grad. they will be back at
6pm that day to speak to parents.
grad retakes will take place april 18th. sign up outside
of room 207.
grad pancake breakfast is April 9th from 9:30-11:30 at
DJay’s. we need 25 volunteers to start at 8:45 am. tickets are $15 and
available from student and parent committee members, and sold outside of the
office at lunch and after school until march 24th.
the event The Event will take place
on March 18th, 7pm—tickets will be on sale february 27th in front of
the office at lunch. $15 for tickets on the floor, and $12 on the balcony.

all grade 12 students are to bring in $5 for the silent auction. you
can bring it to the office, or to joanna, hunter or alissa.
art house films they’re back for semester
2! movies run every Wednesday at 4pm.
