art house films   just one more week until art house films comes back for another year. starting october 12^th, and running every wednesday, you will get to watch movies that are not just your regular hollywood fare. our first movie is titled “9”. a rag doll awakens in a post-apocalyptic future and holds the key to humanity’s salvation. registration is required. pick up a form from the drama room.

 

we scare hunger   there is a meeting friday at 12:40 for all cas students interested in participating.

 

inktober   students who love to draw with ink should take part in inktober.check out the posters around the school or see mrs. teichroew in the art room.  prizes will be awarded!

 

blood donor clinic   on october 26th at lunch, the blood bus is coming to pick up students who are over 17.   you can sign up in the office – there are currently 3 spots left.

 

what’s your type   canadian blood services will be here october 19^th at lunch so that students 17 years or over can have their blood typed.

 

u of m   Any gr 10, 11, or 12 students who are interested in Engineering or would like to learn more about it are invited to attend U of M's Engineering Outreach Day october 18, with 2 more dates to follow, for a full day of presentations and hands on experience in design and problem solving.
