pancake breakfast The grad pancake breakfast
fundraiser will be held on Sunday, April 17th from 9am to 11am. Tickets are
available from Mr.Braun in the office. We are in need of volunteers for that
event from 8-11am. a Sign up sheet can be found outside of Ms. Walterson's
room, rm207. Please sign up asap.
Gowns for Grads The
period 3 challenge continues this week to raise funds and donations for Gowns
for Grads. Please see your period 3 teacher for rules and prizes.
community service hours Grade 12 students applying for awards and
scholarships are reminded to submit their community involvement activity log
forms. Students need 40 hours logged to
qualify for a St. James-Assiniboia Diploma.
Log forms are available in the office and, when signed by supervisor,
can be returned to the office.
rotary career symposium Grade 11 students who are
interested in attending the Rotary Career Symposium on May 4th are to pick up a
permission form in the Student Services area.

drive 4ur school our grad committee is
sponsoring this event – come out wednesday, april 20th from 9-6 to
test drive a ford. our grads can earn up to $6000. see the poster on our website or around our
school.

flota This year's FLOTA presentation 'The Artistic
Brain' will be held Monday April 11th.
Tickets will be on sale all week over lunch hours and after school in
front of the Office. Single tickets are
$15 or you can purchase a table of 8 for $110.
Please come and support this showcase of all of the arts programming
available at Westwood.
flota is looking for students who need community
service hours for 3 hours in the evening of April 11. Your job will be to serve
beverages to our guests. This is a great way to see your talented classmates
perform. if you’re interested, see mr.
white in the drama room.
go hungry 24 hour famine ib & drive are hosting the fundraiser for
rwanda and east africa. it will take place april 21st. sign up on
the IB board in front of the office.
badminton Wednesday – practice for
all players from 3:30-5. Thursday – all
doubles at shaftsbury at 4pm.
rugby Boys rugby practices will be held on Monday
and Wednesday next week starting at 5:00 PM.
outdoor track & field All students interested in
competing in outdoor Track and Field, there will be a meeting Thursday at 12:05
in the fitness centre. If you cannot
