school supplies drive   please bring in unused, packaged school supplies to the table in front of the office in the morning and at lunch. exchange supplies for tickets for a chance to win gift cards - $75, $50 or$25.

gym riot   it’s march 24^th. sign up on the student council board until dec. 16^th.

grade level meeting   Grade Level meetings are scheduled for Thursday, Dec.3 starting Period 5 with G.12s.

sources of strength   There will be a sources of strength meeting for all peer leaders during period 5 on December 8th in the drama room.

popcorn sales   every friday, grad committee will be selling kernels popcorn outside of the cafeteria at lunch.

transamerica   on dec. 2^nd, westwood students united and the art house movie night will be showing the movie “transamerica”. there are posters all around the school. there will be free popcorn and all those who show up will get one free raffle ticket to enter a draw for two movie passes. tickets are $1 or 3 for $2.

art house films   a new film is screened every wednesday at 4:30 in our theatre. There is a brief introduction by mr. white, and a group discussion will follow.

next week’s film is transamerica. pick up a permission form outside of the drama room.

curling   congrats to westwood 2 for another big win last night. our girls played a close game until the 5^th end. practice thursday.
