gsa   The GSA will be hosting a Day of Purple, or Spirit Day on Thursday, October 16th. We are asking that everyone wear purple on behalf of the young people who took their own lives due to homophobic bullying.

culture club   the next meeting of the culture club will be October 14.

finer things club will meet on Thursday at 3:30 this week because of early dismissal.

blood donor clinic   there will be a bus traveling to canadian blood services on october 9^th at noon. permission forms are available in the office.  students must be 17 to donate.

young women’s conference   Grade 9 and 10 girls who are interested in learning about careers in trades and technology are asked to sign up with Ms. Bennett for the Young Woman's Conference by Oct 15th.  Space is limited, please sign up early.

girls rugby   girls rugby will have a workout Thursday in the fitness center at 5:30pm.

volleyball   congrats to our jv boys – they defeated oak park 3 sets to zip last night!

boys hockey   practice Wednesday at 4:45 – no early dismissal. dismissed at 2:45 friday for a game at southdale.

girls hockey   dismissed Wednesday at 2:45 for practice.  Just a reminder that the girls have their home opener this thursday at 4pm at Keith Bodley.  Come out and cheer our girls on as they take on Springfield.
