spirit week   october 27-31   Wednesday – mix & match day. in the caf at lunch: spelling bee, Thursday – throwback/retro thursday. in the caf at lunch: pumpkin carving, friday – halloween costume day with costume judging in the caf at lunch.

Spelling Bee   Participants are reminded to be in the cafeteria at 12:20 to register for the final competition.  The first word will be spelled at 12:30.

cafeteria   Wednesday – pasta with caesar salad, frozen treats for dessert, thursday – pizza.

arts   Visual Arts, Graphic Technology, and Photography students will be displaying their artwork Monday through Thursday each week on stage in the Cafeteria. This week we feature Ashley Davis' works in digital media.  

yip   there’s a bake sale every day at lunch in front of the caf. proceeds go to make a wish foundation.

creative writing   thursday, creative writing will be doing blackout poetry. join them in room 204 at lunch.

aaa   there’s a meeting wednesday at lunch in room 215.

grad committee   grad clothing is on sale from Wednesday to friday in front of the office before school, at lunch and after school. students can check the facebook group or the school website for designs. check out the posters around the school.

grad craft sale   The sign-up sheet for the Grad Craft Show, taking place on Nov 22nd, is now up outside of room 207. All grads are encouraged to sign up for a shift on the friday or Saturday  (nov. 21 or 22). Please see Ms.Walterson with any questions.

university fair   Grade 11 and 12 students are invited to attend the University Fair at Sturgeon Heights on Thursday Nov 6. This is an opportunity to speak to recruiters from universities across the country. Whether you are interested in going to school here in MB or in another province, you will be able to gather the necessary information at this fair.  Interested students are asked to pick up a permission form from the Guidance office. They will be due back no later than Tuesday, Nov 4th.

girls hockey   Just a reminder that the girls have practice today at 3:30 and are to be dismissed at 2:45pm.  There will also be a brief meeting in room 217 today at lunch.

volleyball   Congratulations to the JV Boys Volleyball Team on defeating John Taylor 3 sets to 1. Please meet in front of the office at 3 pm before you leave for Portage.

Good luck to all volleyball teams in their match against Portage.

boys soccer   Boys' soccer meeting at lunch 12:03. All must attend. Team uniforms will be handed-out.

Ultimate   There will be a parent meeting regarding Vancouver Nationals on Tuesday, November 4, 5:30-6:00 in the school library.
