TADD   Did you know that you can receive a $200 fine and 2 demerits for distracted driving?  The Teens Against Drinking and Distracted Driving group want to remind everyone that it only takes seconds to become distracted while driving.  Please be safe and remember to watch out for the extra pedestrian traffic that will be out trick or treating this Halloween weekend. 

ENGINEERING   Gr 9, 10, and 11 girls who are interested in Engineering Sciences are invited to Engineering Is For Girls at U of M. Please see Ms Bennett for details, space is limited, register soon.

arts   Visual Arts, Graphic Technology, and Photography students will be displaying their artwork Monday through Thursday each week on stage in the Cafeteria. This week we feature Ashley Davis' works in digital media.  

yip   there’s a bake sale every day at lunch in front of the caf. proceeds go to make a wish foundation.

grad committee   grad clothing is on sale from Wednesday to friday in front of the office before school, at lunch and after school. students can check the facebook group or the school website for designs. check out the posters around the school.

grad craft sale   The sign-up sheet for the Grad Craft Show, taking place on Nov 22nd, is now up outside of room 207. All grads are encouraged to sign up for a shift on the friday or Saturday  (nov. 21 or 22). Please see Ms.Walterson with any questions.

university fair   Grade 11 and 12 students are invited to attend the University Fair at Sturgeon Heights on Thursday Nov 6. This is an opportunity to speak to recruiters from universities across the country. Whether you are interested in going to school here in MB or in another province, you will be able to gather the necessary information at this fair.  Interested students are asked to pick up a permission form from the Guidance office. They will be due back no later than Tuesday, Nov 4th.

boys hockey  the team is to be dismissed today at 2:45 for their game.

volleyball  Congratulations to the varsity girls for placing second in their pool last night in the st vital invitational. Good luck tonight as you start playoffs.

Ultimate   There will be a parent meeting regarding Vancouver Nationals on Tuesday, November 4, 5:30-6:00 in the school library.
